At JEEMCA, we’re excited to share our latest transformation project — the journey of turning a 1,000 sq. ft. bungalow into a beautifully designed 3,400 sq. ft. custom home in North York. Over the span of one year and within a limited budget, we worked to deliver the best value for every dollar, turning an empty side yard into a warm, welcoming family space.
The overall design of the home is rooted in modern minimalism, emphasizing clean lines, natural light, and a cohesive sense of space. For the exterior, we carefully selected a mix of three-tone stucco paired with vertical corrugated metal panels. This thoughtful combination not only creates strong visual contrast but also adds texture and warmth, giving the home a unique, contemporary character that stands out while still feeling inviting and livable.
Inside, the main floor boasts a generous 10-foot ceiling and a seamless open-concept layout that unites the living room, dining area, and kitchen into one flowing, multifunctional space. The integration of sleek linear lighting — extending all the way into a soaring cathedral ceiling — brings an elegant and futuristic touch, elevating the atmosphere into something bold yet comfortable, ideal for modern family life.
Upstairs, the home features a master bedroom and a children’s room, each with its own custom-designed private balcony. The master suite is designed to emphasize openness and calm, with a cathedral ceiling that amplifies both natural light and spatial freedom, creating a serene retreat above the city.
We look forward to bringing more magical spaces to life. If you enjoyed this video, don’t forget to like and follow us!
