Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Scheduling and Administration:

– Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and scope of work documents.
– Oversee pre-construction activities, including executing checklists, securing locates, arranging service shutoffs, and coordinating temporary power.
– Organize and lead project meetings with clients, architects, designers, trades, and internal teams, ensuring timely milestone updates and schedule adjustments.
– Document meeting minutes and ensure follow-up on action items.
– Serve as the primary contact between the project manager and site supervisor, facilitating seamless project execution from start to finish.
– Ensure clear, professional communication among all project stakeholders, balancing the interests of the company and the construction project.

2. Procurement and Tendering:

 – Review design specifications, shop drawings, and perform material take-offs to maintain high construction standards.
– Collaborate with the Project Manager to tender, assess, negotiate, and award contracts, while managing pricing adjustments and extras.
– Maintain comprehensive records of approvals, drawings, and permits for each project.
– Support Site Supervisors in procuring materials and equipment from trades and suppliers.
– Ensure that the Project Manager is kept informed with all current and necessary project documentation.

Skills and Qualifications:

– Minimum of 3 years of experience in Construction Project Coordination.
– Proficiency in reading and interpreting building plans, with a solid understanding of the Ontario Building Code (OBC).
– Extensive experience in residential construction and renovations, covering all aspects of the building process.
– Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
– Diploma or degree in Construction Management.
– Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, management, crews, and sub-trades.
– Strong understanding of construction timelines, scheduling, sub-trade management, and budget adherence.
– PMP/CAPM certification is an asset but not mandatory.

Jeemca is seeking a talented and experienced Designer with a BCIN (Building Code Identification Number) certification to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and overseeing the design of residential additions and renovations, ensuring that all designs comply with the Ontario Building Code (OBC) and meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design Development:

– Create detailed design plans for residential additions, renovations, and remodels that align with client requirements and the Ontario Building Code.
– Develop innovative and functional designs that maximize space, aesthetic appeal, and structural integrity.
– Collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that designs meet client specifications and project goals.

2. Code Compliance:

– Ensure all designs adhere to the latest Ontario Building Code regulations and guidelines.
– Prepare and submit all necessary documentation for permit applications and approvals, ensuring timely compliance with municipal and provincial regulations.
– Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and other relevant legislation.

3. Client Interaction:
